Urgent requirement: shakeout operator (Wales)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Torfaen County Borough, Wales. The job is at a brass and bronze foundry. Requirements: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings On the job you will handle: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together Six days a week, one day off.
