Lathe programmer-operator — Atchison County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Atchison County, Missouri. Day-to-day duties: • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles You should have: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
