Abattoir worker — Carroll County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Carroll County, Tennessee. The role involves take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case. Ideal candidate: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Full-time with occasional weekends.
