Immediate opening: we are hiring a surface coating operator in Gloucester County, Virginia. The job is at a powder coating unit. What we are looking for: • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg The role involves cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time; set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow; apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun; record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness; hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Contact us to fix an interview.
