Now hiring: we are hiring an in-process quality controller in Prince Edward County, Virginia. You will work in a metal fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols Day to day you will measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans.
