Restoration bricklayer — Putnam County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Putnam County, Missouri. Day to day you will buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
