Now hiring: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Garfield County, Oklahoma. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. On the job you will handle: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints You should have: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
