Quality checker • Monterey County, California

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a quality checker in Monterey County, California. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Requirements: • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
