Rigger wanted in Bay County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rigger in Bay County, Michigan. The job is at a shipyard. Day to day you will check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists. Ideal candidate: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
