Immediate opening: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Hernando County, Florida. The job is at a road and highway construction project. Your main tasks: • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds Requirements: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs Full-time, day shift. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
