CNC programmer-operator wanted in Tallapoosa County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Tallapoosa County, Alabama. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed You should have: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron 1+ years on the tools preferred.
