Immediate opening: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Watonwan County, Minnesota. The job is on a metro and tunnel project. You should have: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing On a typical shift you will box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse.
