Tile mason — Boone County

Join our team: we are hiring a tile mason in Boone County, Iowa. What we are looking for: • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation Day-to-day duties: • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
