Stitching operator wanted in Yakima County

Now hiring: we are hiring a stitching operator in Yakima County, Washington. You will press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line. Ideal candidate: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Six days a week, one day off.
