Precision welder wanted in Ohio County

Join our team: we are hiring a precision welder in Ohio County, West Virginia. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. On a typical shift you will prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. Requirements: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
