Restoration bricklayer — Burke County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Burke County, Georgia. You will be based at a residential building site. You should have: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Your main tasks: • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
