Brick mason — Emmet County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a brick mason in Emmet County, Iowa. You will work on a scaffolded high-rise site. Your main tasks: • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb What we are looking for: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Full-time with occasional weekends.
