Immediate opening: blocklayer (Alabama)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a blocklayer in Chilton County, Alabama. You will work on a commercial construction site. What we are looking for: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently On a typical shift you will laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. We offer $2,500 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off.
