Immediate opening: PVC window assembler (England)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a PVC window assembler in Greater London, England. You will take site measurements of openings before fabrication; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
