Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Isanti County, Minnesota. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift Your main tasks: • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
