Rigger wanted in Chautauqua County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rigger in Chautauqua County, Kansas. You will work on an offshore oil and gas platform. The role involves: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
