We are recruiting: we are hiring a press setter operator in Kent County, Michigan. The job is at a white goods manufacturing plant. Day to day you will set up and change stamping dies and tooling; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely. Requirements: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards 3+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
