Flatlock machine operator — Bunkure

Immediate opening: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Bunkure, Kano State. The job is on an export house sewing floor. Requirements: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Day-to-day duties: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation Full-time, day shift.
