Vacancy available: core maker (Tennessee)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a core maker in Scott County, Tennessee. You will apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
