JCB operator • Arlington County, Virginia

Now hiring: we are hiring a JCB operator in Arlington County, Virginia. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures Your main tasks: • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely 2+ years on the tools preferred.
