Gas commissioning technician — Yavapai County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Yavapai County, Arizona. Day-to-day duties: • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation Requirements: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration Six days a week, one day off.
