Electrical technician — Brunswick County

Join our team: we are hiring an electrical technician in Brunswick County, Virginia. What we are looking for: • Valid wireman/electrical licence as required by the state • Normal colour vision for cable identification • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds Day-to-day duties: • Isolate circuits and apply lockout-tagout before working • Check earth continuity and earth pit resistance • Dress and terminate wiring inside control panels • Size and route cabling to suit the load current and voltage drop • Test insulation resistance with a megger • Replace faulty switches, sockets and light fittings Full-time, day shift.
