QC inspector — Wayne County

Join our team: we are hiring a QC inspector in Wayne County, Iowa. You will be based in an electronics assembly workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line You should have: • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits 1+ years on the tools preferred.
