Sand plant operator wanted in Spokane County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Spokane County, Washington. Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal The role involves: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
