GMAW welder • Moore County, Texas

Immediate opening: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Moore County, Texas. You will be based in a heavy engineering unit. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Day-to-day duties: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
