Now hiring: we are hiring a cook in Floyd County, Indiana. You will work in a catering banquet kitchen. You should have: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies Day to day you will taste and adjust seasoning for consistency; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs.
