Lathe operator — Lea County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lathe operator in Lea County, New Mexico. You will be based on a production line. Day-to-day duties: • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature Ideal candidate: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Six days a week, one day off.
