Horizontal milling machine operator wanted in Jefferson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Jefferson County, Oklahoma. The job is in a die and mould making unit. Day to day you will apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Able to grind and set HSS cutters At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
