Framing carpenter — Person County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Person County, North Carolina. You will work at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Good eye for detail and a clean finish Day to day you will lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. $31 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
