Offshore rigger wanted in Mobile County

Join our team: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Mobile County, Alabama. What we are looking for: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear The role involves: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
