Wheel loader operator — Otoe County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a wheel loader operator in Otoe County, Nebraska. You will work at a landfill site. Your main tasks: • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift Requirements: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Understanding of safe digging near underground services At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
