Great opportunity: we are hiring a carpenter in Muskegon County, Michigan. You will work at a shopfitting company. You should have: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists Your main tasks: • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
