Tile mason — Walsall

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tile mason in Walsall, England. You will work at a busy tiling site. On a typical shift you will fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even; make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges; cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter. Ideal candidate: • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around £2,550 per month, based on your experience. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
