Lifting rigger — Roane County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Roane County, Tennessee. What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Day-to-day duties: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
