Machinist — Van Wert County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a machinist in Van Wert County, Ohio. You will work in a textile and apparel unit. On the job you will handle: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality What we are looking for: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently 6+ years on the tools preferred.
