Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Isiala-Ngwa South, Abia State. Requirements: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks On a typical shift you will spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser.
