Press shop operator — Chaves County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a press shop operator in Chaves County, New Mexico. You will work in a forging and pressing unit. The role involves watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely. Requirements: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg 2+ years on the tools preferred.
