Aluminium TIG welder — Wakulla County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Wakulla County, Florida. You should have: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Your main tasks: • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
