Control panel electrician • Jefferson County, Alabama

Vacancy available: we are hiring a control panel electrician in Jefferson County, Alabama. The job is at a residential housing project. Ideal candidate: • Valid wireman/electrical licence as required by the state • Normal colour vision for cable identification Your main tasks: • Pull and terminate cables in conduit and cable trays • Measure voltage, current and load with a multimeter and clamp meter • Isolate circuits and apply lockout-tagout before working • Wire single-phase and three-phase distribution boards • Check earth continuity and earth pit resistance • Dress and terminate wiring inside control panels Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
