Panel beater — Champaign County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a panel beater in Champaign County, Illinois. On the job you will handle: • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line • Replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $160 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
