Production welder • Orlu, Imo State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a production welder in Orlu, Imo State. Your main tasks: • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator You should have: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
