Milling machinist — Kingman County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a milling machinist in Kingman County, Kansas. You will be based at an automotive components factory. You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery On a typical shift you will deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence.
