Crawler crane operator wanted in Washburn County

Now hiring: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Washburn County, Wisconsin. The job is at a container port and shipping yard. Day to day you will park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure. Requirements: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • A good head for heights for tower crane work Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,900 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
