Production line inspector — Schenectady County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a production line inspector in Schenectady County, New York. You will work at a busy manufacturing plant. You should have: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems On a typical shift you will record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift.
