Great opportunity: we are hiring a press setter operator in North Slope Borough, Alaska. The job is at a busy press shop. Your main tasks: • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges 2+ years on the tools preferred.
